By all accounts, these films have been, more or less, completed, but were curiously absent from the September festivals. You make your own judgments as to why that is the case. I bet a few of them show up at Sundance and the 2023 Berlinale. Maybe a surprise or two will screen at AFI. What is going on with Ira Sachs’ “Passages”? I thought it would for sure show up at Venice and/or TIFF, but it seems as though that film’s producers are now aiming for Berlin. I’ve taken out Gareth Evans’ “Havoc” from the original list since that one is now a 2023 release for Netflix. Otherwise, the following are the orphaned productions of the movie year so far … “Eileen” (William Oldroyd)“Passages” (Ira Sachs)”Borderlands” (Eli Roth)“Are You There God, It’s Me, Margaret” (Kelly Fremon)”Landscape with Invisible Hand” (Corey Finley)“You People” (Kenya Barris)“Infinity Pool” (Brandon Cronenberg)“The Marsh King’s Daughter” (Neil Burger)”Argyle” (Matthew Vaughn)“The Mother” (Niki Caro)“Flamin Hot” (Eva Longoria)“Sharper” (Benjamin Caron)“Tuesday” (Daina O. Pusic)“Memory Of Water” (Saara Saarela) Contribute Hire me
