“Bones and All” is loved by The Telegraph. Also, The Guardian’s Peter Bradshaw has given it another 5/5 perfect score, his third of the fest so far. THR is fairly high on it as well. Total Film gives it 4/5. Screen Daily likes it. Other raves include freelancers for The Playlist and IndieWire. The BBC is conservative with a 3/5. Ditto Collider with its B- grade. The negative takes include Vanity Fair, and Variety. I do wonder if Timothee Chalamet can sneak into the Best Actor race for this movie. Luca Guadagnino’s “Bones and All” has screened at Venice and the reactions I’ve gathered from critics and audiences is that it’s gory and good. Is it great?
