As “Akira” is being “put-on-hold” by Warner Bros, Waititi has decided to go back to the MCU. According to Variety, Waititi is officially returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the writer-director has closed a deal to helm “Thor 4.” I’m sure Disney and Marvel must be ecstatic about this — Waititi brought back the ‘Thor’ franchise from the dead back in 2017 with . The first two ‘Thor’ films were not up-to-par, especially the second instaellement titled “The Dark World,” which, to my eyes at least, is the worst MCU movie ever released.
