However, the internet never forgets … Chris Rock hosting the Oscars would be the best possible rehabilitation scheme for the Academy in the post-slap era. However, we already know that, and earlier this summer, Rock had already declined their invitation to host the 2023 ceremony. Did he change his mind? I guess we’ll see… If it does turn out to be true, then ratings for next year’s Oscar telecast would SKYROCKET. Plus, Will Smith is barred from the ceremony, so Rock wouldn’t have to worry.
