According to Deadline, “The Northman” has caught the attention of a few noteworthy actors, including Nicole Kidman, Alexander Skarsgård, Anya Taylor-Joy, Bill Skarsgård, and Willem Dafoe — all are currently in talks to star in Eggers’ upcoming project. No word yet on what “The Northman” is going to be about, and I doubt we will get much plot detail, but I have been a major advocate of Eggers’ filmmaking skills ever since I saw “The Witch” at Sundance 5 years ago. He’s the real deal, even if I thought “The Lighthouse,” a compulsively watchable film, was a tad beneath Eggers’ skills as a director. Contribute Hire me
