THE POWER OF THE DOG only won a DGA, and I’d be shocked if Campion doesn’t win Best Director. But it didn’t win the PGA or the WGA. Social media is abuzz about why production on Aziz Ansari’s “Being Mortal” has been indefinitely shut down. All we know is that the film was halfway done shooting and that the now infamous “filed complaint” was not directed towards Ansari. It’s a bizarre thing to do, for Fox Searchlight to just shut everything down over a “complaint.” There was almost certainly some sort of sexual harassment or assault against a woman that occurred on the film set....
