Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, a technically gifted filmmaker, has decided to go to war with film critics over the negative reactions “Bardo” has been getting. The filmmaker is now accusing film critics of racism after “Bardo” received tepid reviews at Venice/Telluride. Inarritu spoke to the Los Angeles Times about these prejudiced film critics: Very strange how racist film critics have gotten in just a matter of a few years. Doesn’t Inarritu realize that this is his first film to be vehemently disliked by them (maybe second if you count “Bitutiful)? Does he even remember that he was one of only three people to win back to back directing Oscars, and the first one to do so since the 40s? It was just 24 hours ago that Inarritu claimed he didn’t read any of the “Bardo” reviews. How can he call the reviews racist if he’s not reading them? Contribute Hire me
