As for Walt Disney Pictures, well, they’re not fucking around and for good reason, especially since director Niki Caro’s live-action remake of “Mulan” was set to make very big money overseas and especially in China. Slated for a March 27th release in the U.S. and globally March 26th, Caro’s film has a budget of over $200 million, which makes it the most expensive live-action film ever directed by a female filmmaker.
