It turns out, that not only will Damien Chazelle be having an “In Conversation With …” at TIFF, but he will also be presenting exclusive footage of his upcoming “Babylon.” Not much else is currently known about what will be shown. Maybe it’s the same trailer shown at Comic-Con earlier this summer or maybe, as I’m being told, it’s actual non-interrupted footage of “Babylon.” TIFF boss Cameron Bailey will be moderating the conversation with Chazelle on Monday, September 12th. The “La La Land” filmmaker will talk about his impressive directorial career and what lies ahead in the future for him. “Babylon” is currently slated to roll out in theaters on Christmas Day. The film stars Margot Robbie, Brad Pitt, Diego Calva and Jean Smart. It is said that Chazelle’s upcoming epic runs at a whopping 3 hours. UPDATE: Some additional details, confirmed.
