As is the tradition for many upcoming Nolan movies, a teaser tends to be snuck into one of the bigger summer blockbusters a year prior to release. So the murmurs that I heard in June turned out to be true. “Oppenheimer” is said to have a budget of around $100 million. It’ll also be interesting to see just how much of “Oppenheimer” will be shot in IMAX analog black and white by Nolan and DP Hoyte Van Hoytema. Nolan is currently in post for “Oppenheimer.” He has more than a year to finish editing and put the film in the can.
