Cannes then told journalists to log on to the online ticket request site at 7 am to have the best shot at snagging tickets. My attempt at a 7 am wake up was successful, but tickets were still not available. So, what are we supposed to do exactly? I’m now being told to be patient and eventually I’ll be successful. It’s a total clusterfuck. How are credentialed journalists supposed to see films? Maybe Cannes just needs to cancel this year’s online system and send a mass email announcing that they are reverting back to the pre-pandemic lineup system.
