We already had a “Ticket to Paradise” reaction sent over on May 16th. With fhe trailer having been released earlier this week, yet another reaction has popped up. It looks fairly pedestrian, an old-school rom-com for the nostalgists are out there. The draw of this movie is not the director, it’s George Clooney and Julia Roberts. Simple as that. They’ve always had great chemistry together, not to mention that they are close friends in real-life. Weirdly enough, this is another reaction that singles out Luca Bravo as a scene stealer — he’s not even featured in the trailer. The film test-screened on 5/12 in Los Angeles: I had to look it up, and a gentleman by the name of Ol Parker directed “Ticket to Paradise,” his past credits include the “Mama Mia” sequel and both “Exotic Marigold Hotel” movies, so don’t expect a masterpiece here. The film is set to be released on October 21st, 2022. A Venice world premiere has been rumored. TIFF will surely pick this one up as a world premiere just to have both stars show up at the festival in September. Contribute Hire me
