Leonardo DiCaprio will be joining Scorsese’s adaptation of the newly released David Grann non-fiction book, “The Wager: A Tale of Shipwreck, Mutiny, and Murder”. Grann is also the author of “Killers of the Flower Moon,” which, as mentioned, Scorsese recently adapted. [via THR] This means, not counting, ‘Killers,’ Scorsese has three movies currently in development; a Jerry Garcia biopic starring Jonah Hill, a Teddy Roosevelt biopic starring DiCaprio and “The Wager.” However, Apple is hinting that “The Wager” will be the next film Scorsese directs. Meanwhile, Scorsese and DiCaprio, one of the great actor/director partnerships of our time, have already made six movies together, if you also include “Killers of the Flower Moon. The other five are “Gangs of New York, “The Aviator”, “The Departed”, “Shutter Island” and “The Wolf of Wall Street.” De Niro and Scorsese, the most legendary of actor/director collaborations, have made a total of 9 films together, including “Raging Bull,” “Taxi Driver” “Goodfellas,” “Casino,” “Mean Streets,” and “The King of Comedy.” Contribute Hire me
