According to the report, most of the Americans buying tickets for “Tenet” stem from the Southern regions of the United States, as those states account for 45% of the ticket sales in the country. And worldwide, it appears that 70% to 80% of all ticket purchases are coming from men. Then again, I wouldn’t be surprised if other Nolan films also had those male-to-female demographics. Meanwhile, overseas, the film is set to have a wowza $25 million weekend, but Warner Bros. are still very much planning on having the film play worldwide in theaters. for the next several months, giving people the time to fully be comfortable in going back to theaters to give Nolan’s film a shot. Baby steps, as they say. This is all about “Tenet” having legs in the long run, which should be interesting to follow as, if successful, it could persuade other studios to follow suit and release their own blockbusters in the fall months ahead.
