Epstein’s arrest and eventual suicide sent shockwaves last year and unleashed a slew of conspiracy theories which, come on, admit it, may not have been invented at all. Was he murdered? Did he commit suicide? The Netflix docuseries “Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich” will tackle all of these questions and then some. Epstein was an incredibly wealthy guy, with a lot of powerful contacts, who started a pedophilia ring, which included numerous trips to his private island, and somehow escaped the law for more than two decades (Thanks a bunch, NY D.A.). The theories out there go that he had so many powerful friends, including one Bill Clinton, check out that blue dress photo at the entrance of his “pedophile island” mansion, that after he was arrested a bounty was put on his head by the “higher powers”. The four-part docuseries is directed by Lisa Bryant and produced by “Paradise Lost” filmmaker Joe Berlinger. “Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich” arrives on Netflix on May 27. EDIT: Supposedly, this docuseries is based on a book written by James Patterson, a friend— and co-author— of a certain Bill Clinton. Something tells me the full-fledged Jeffrey Epstein story will not be told here. In a 2018 NY Mag interview, Patterson said “We had talked to people who flew Epstein’s plane with President Clinton and got no evidence that there was anything inappropriate there. That’s what we found. Names are going to come up for sure. The fact that you were at a party and Epstein was at a party, though, I don’t know what the hell that is supposed to mean.” Contribute Hire me
