A trailer for Forster’s film has been rated and will probably be released next week. There’s no point in discounting it just because it’s a remake of Hannes Holms 2015 Swedish film. Forster’s film credits include “Finding Neverland,” “World War Z,” “Monster’s Ball” and “Stranger Than Fiction.” Set for a December 14th release, Forster’s remake has Hanks’ Otto forced to retire from his job of nearly 40 years after his wife dies. He decides to commit suicide. But his attempts are constantly interrupted by his annoying new neighbors. Hanks is coming off his polarizing performance in “Elvis.” His last few movies included the fairly well-received “News of the World,” “A Beautiful Day in the Neighbourhood,” “Greyhound,” and “The Post.” Filming on “A Man Called Otto” began in Pittsburgh back in February and wrapped up this past May.
