Because, honestly, that’s the only thing he should edit out of Godfather 3. You see, I, unlike the majority of movie fans, actually love “The Godfather Part III....

He’s made a career out of only and exclusively choosing the best of the best in Hollywood film directors; Quentin Tarantino, Martin Scorsese, Christopher Nolan, Steven Spielberg, Ridley Scott, Clint Eastwood, Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu. b) Guillermo del Toro hasn’t made a movie since 2017’s Oscar-winning “The Shape of Water.” He currently has a live-action “Pinnochio” in-store for Netflix and now this new project with DiCaprio, which is a remake of 1940’s film noir “Nightmare Alley....

A new interview with Sparks musician Russel Mael has the artist talking about his work on Carax’s upcoming musical “Annette” [via Consequences of Sound] and, suffice to say, it sounds like a very unique cinematic experience (would you expect anything else from Carax?) The screenplay for “Annette” was written by the musical Mael brothers (Ron and Russell), otherwise known as Sparks a musical duo launched 47 years ago. The cryptic, but official synopsis of “Annette” has a stand-up comedian (played by Adam Driver) and his opera singer wife (Marion Cotillard) discovering that their two-year-old daughter has a “surprising gift....

One of the cast members, Fabrizio Gifuni, mentioned that Bellocchio could not be in attendance because “he’s currently editing what will be his final film. You will see that next year.” That film is “La Conversione,” currently in post-production and, probably, aiming for a Cannes world premiere. If this is indeed the 82-year-old’s final film then he will be closing one of the great Italian filmmaking careers. Bellocchio has been going at it now for close to six decades....

Rylance is a legend in his own right. Earning a reputation as one of the seminal Shakespearian actors of our time. According to Sean Penn, is “probably the closest thing to a magician we have in the field.” Al Pacino chimed in with the utmost respect for the guy as well: “Rylance speaks Shakespeare as if it was written for him the night before.” And even Steven Spielberg sent out praise by saying Rylance was “one of the most extraordinary actors working anywhere....

All kidding aside, If you did get that email, chances are it was a request for buyers to come and catch a first glimpse at Roman Polanski’s latest film, “An Officer and a Spy.” The film’s launch to buyers took place at Le Studio just off the Croisette, according to THR. A packed house attended the show with French star, Jean Dujardin (The Artist). The film is about Captain Alfred Dreyfus, a French-Jewish solider wrongly accused of spying for the Germans in Paris in the 1890s....

Like a Clint Eastwood movie, but inept and free of nuance. There’s some super cringey stuff in there, for sure, trying to score easy points against terms like hate crime, toxic masculinity and wokeness....

As you’ve surely noticed, the Oscar voting body love themselves a good narrative and there is no better narrative this year than that of deaf actor Troy Kotsur (“CODA”). Before his Oscar nominated turn, the 53-year-old journeyman’s best known film work was a very loose supporting turn as Barnaby in “The Number 23.” Otherwise, his credits mostly consist of guest appearances on TV shows. Of course, we could all just be underestimating the love the Academy might have for “Belfast” and Ciaran Hinds, but I highly doubt that....

A big title among the MMORPGs is Path of Exile, it surely is one hell of a video game but it still has competitors of course, really strong ones I presume. One such competitor is Diablo 3. Diablo 3 is an extraordinary title in the gaming industry and it has been the only opponent to Path of Exile that has given POE a really tough time when it comes to comparing the both games....
